Current Events
Each Friday one student per week will be presenting their article and answers to the provided questions to the class. If you know that you are going to be absent the day of your presentation you are expected to present the day before your absence.
Below is an explanation of each part of the Current Events project. Be sure to answer all parts of each question. You will be graded on your analysis of your article, spelling and writing conventions. I would suggest that you do a rough copy for each question before filling out the sheets I have provided.
Remember that your article should be about a story that affects you or our community. Articles should be appropriate to share with the class (no excessive violence please). If you are having trouble finding an article or have questions about appropriateness please see me.
Good luck and have fun searching!
